Willam J. Voit. Creator of our brand, was born on November 6, 1881 in Worthington, Indiana. He developed an innovative concept in the manufacture of balls and founded the company in the city of California under the name: W. J. Voit Corporation. |

To improve the nylon coating on the balls of basketball, developed and patented a system called: ICOSAHEDRON, which was taken as a pattern of spinning a geometric shape, allowing a machine to coat the frame with nylon thread, in a uniform and consistent manner. |
